Whether you are currently bilingual, multilingual, working in health care or are simply interested in obtaining an entry-level credentials in the field, you’ll gain a strong foundation in healthcare interpretation, including: roles, modes, ethics, and current professional and regulatory guidelines, strategies for effective communication between different cultures in the health care setting, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.
The program also offers immersive role-playing exercises to help improve patient safety, as well as eight important hours on the Codes of Ethics to ensure you can make appropriate decisions in even the most difficult circumstances.
Ensure an accurate understanding between patients and providers! Serve as a professional and respectful communications conduit for limited-English patients by learning the National Best Practice Standards in Professional Medical Interpreting!
